Hi

I am trying to use the Audio CD option to rip CDA files from my Plextor CD-R drive under Windows 98 SE. I have alredy tried to update the ASPI drivers and I still get "ASPI is not properly installed" message running the test executable from this site; of the 4 files, ASPIENUM.VXD is not present, APIX.VXD and WNASPI32.DLL are v4.711 and WINASPI,DLL is v1.0. Any thoughts?

When I tried to use the Audio CD directly, I can;t seem to get the files on the CD listed. Under the options tab, nothing appears in the "use CD Drive" dropdown list.

As an alternative, I can use Roxio EasyCD to take CDA files to WMA and then your software to go to MP3, but that seems a bit tool klugey.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks

Do a search on your hard disc for each of these filenames (you might have to set Explorer to show hidden files), there could be more than one set installed.

If there is then add a -old to the file name of each and reinstall.
