View Full Version : How Do I Design A Custom Ripping Path That Looks Like I Want It To?

I would like my ripped songs to appear as .wav files in a Windows path like this:

C:\31\Rickie Lee Jones\Rickie Lee Jones

So the completed songs would look like this:

01 - Chuck E.'s in Love Rickie Lee Jones Rock 01 1979 03.wav

So I created a Ripping path like this:

[artist]\[album]\[track] - [title] [artist] [genre] [track] [year]

But the above path does not include compilations and multi-cd sets.

Can you help me come up with a Ripping path that would look like how I want it to look above and still work for compilations and multi-cd sets?

Also, after spending a few hours experimenting, I still cannot come up with a way to convert my .wav files into .mp3 files so that they appear in a Windows folder called CD 1 in the above Windows path like so:

C:\31\Rickie Lee Jones\Rickie Lee Jones\CD 1

Can you help me with that Ripping path also?

Thank you so much for your help.

Edward

I'm not sure where the "31" is coming from, so I'll just assume that is a static part of the path.
I'm not sure what you want compilations to look like, so I will work on the non-compilation part:
[IF!COMP][artist]\[album]\[IFMULTI]CD [disc]\[][track] - [title] [artist] [genre] [track] [year][]
Does that look correct or no? Also, please post what you want your compilation path to look like.
