my device won't install

I have a Rio 500. I downloaded the Rio 500 thing, and clicked add device, but the window was empty. Then I went back and clicked
"advanced" and the rio showed up as installed. But it isn't listed as a device I can add. What do I do?

The advanced bit just shows which Sveta drivers are on the system.

When you plug the USB into the Rio, it should appear in 'Device Manager' under the USB section, something like 'Rio 500'. Does it?

It appears under "other devices"
