Trying to get Sveta to connect to my new S35S and all it will show is Not connected. The unit is sitting in the "Waiting" state, ready for files. Pressing refresh returns the error "Error Unable to Connect" at the bottom of the screen. No USB hub in the way, and I've tried it on two different machines with the same result.
The unit connects and transfer fine with the software that shipped with it.
Any ideas as to what could be tripping it up?

It must have recognised there was a player to add it to Sveta?
Can you try Windows Media Player, Sveta uses the same communication as that, just to see if that works?

Media Player worked as as long as it was on when I selected the copy to device button. I went back and tried Sveta confirming that the unit was on when I loaded it, but it still fails after trying to connect to the device for a few seconds.

Are you using the latest 1.60 firmware for your Rio?
also after it fails in Sveta please post the contents of:
C:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpowerAMP\Sveta-log.txt

Yes, I've applied the 1.60 firmware. Here's the output from the log file:

Thanks for posting the log, I don't think I will be able to help you for a few months - Sonicblue are going to release a development SDK so I don't have to go through Microsofts stuff. :)

Hey I just wanted everyone to know that I have purchased a RioS35s as well and am having the same issue that BWERN is having with his RioS35s and Windows XP using Sveta. The device works fine with the software that is shipped with it. I have attempted to get SVETA to work at home on my Windows 2000 machine and here at work on my Windows XP macine. Both Operating Systems having the same problems.
Here is the contents of my SVETA-LOG.txt file:

And so on and so forth:....????
I am also using Firmware Version 1.60 and had no issues upgrading to that firmware either. Everything has worked perfectly using the software that came with my player.
Any ideas? Or if you need someone to test something, say the word.
