I don't use playlists and always load music playback by right clicking on a song in Windows Explorer (WinXP, fully updated.) Recently it started to play one specific song (the same one everytime) after all of the selected ones have finished. It then repeats and repeats and repeats that one last unselected song.

I'm stuck, please help.

Do you use dAP's MMC (My Music Collection) at all? One of the scenarios you might encounter this problem with is if you only had one song file in MMC or if the Selective mode was misconfigured.
While you are playing your songs with a right click from Explorer,...might there be a possibility that you inadvertantly selected one file "Add to dAP"?
If the song that is repeating is the only song in MMC, that would explain the problem.

Xoas answered a similar problem yesterday in the following thread.

Let us know if this might be what is causing your problem,...or if you need more help.

Best wishes,

Wow! That was the problem and now its fixed. Thank you. :komisch12

It does say something for the quality of the products (I use the converter, power pack, and cd writer) in that in several years this is the first problem that I have had with any of them.

Super! Glad to have been a help. :supersmil

dAP is versatile in the ways that you can play your music. MMC rocks! And it's where more options begin. In the Random mode, dAP will continue to play from MMC after your right click selections have been exhausted, if you add your files to dAP. That's one of my favorite features. Unattended, non-stop playing of my favorite music,...with the option of cutting in and choosing any option. Many folks have their entire library added to dAP where all files are easily accessible from MMC.
I highly recommend using MMC. ;)
