Nomad IIc copy to PC crashes

Whenever I try to copy any file from Nomad IIc to the PC (from Internal or Smart Media memory) I get an illegal operation.
SVETAEXPLORER caused an invalid page fault in module RPCRT4.DLL" is what gets reported.

Anyone else have this problem? What's my first step?

I'd really like this to work, the software that came with it tore up my system, and got a quick uninstall. :P

Further note:
Just updated the USB drivers from Creative's site and now Sveta reports that it cannot copy the file. This is actually better than it crashing, but I would still like to be able to copy files back.

I will be writing specific Nomad II drivers in the next month or so, it will copy files from the player ok.

I've since gotten Notmad explorer and been messing with it. It's got some pretty cool features, but is slow to start and seems to eat a lot of resources.

I'll be looking forward to having the choice of using the lean, mean, Sveta!
