help!

Hi, not sure to post this or even if anyone here can help me.

I have a CD that is not protected (soundtrack for my film). My assistant copied the disc onto the pc and the PC is saying that the songs are protected. So, I can't pull the songs into the editing software to add the sound track. Any advice??

What program did you use to copy the CD to the computer? If it was Windows Media Player, you must have the option to copy-protect ripped tracks enabled. This can be disabled in WMP itself, but the CD must be re-ripped.
