View Full Version : MP3 Encoding Disabled (Registered Version) WAV TO MP3

I previously used dMC version 11 (registered version, non-beta) with no issues.

Today, I downloaded version 12 and when I try to encode MP3s, my only option is CBR and the resulting files are .WAV embedded MP3s.

I un-installed the older version before I installed V12 and am using Windows XP.

When I install the V12 registered version, lame_enc.dll isn't being installed along with the dMC program.

I thought that my previous purchase of the Power Pack would give me unlimited updates of the program...

On the codecs page, could you paste what it says there?

Also, for dMC r12, there isn't a lame_enc.dll, just a mp3 (LAME).dll.

A ha! You are trying to make a compressed WAV, NOT a real mp3 file. On your codecs list, select "MP3 (LAME)" not WAV. Does this work?

Thanks for your help! :smile2: I guess I just wasn't familiar with the new application's layout...
