i hope this is the right place for this!
ok,It was in may when my computer became corrupt and I had to back up the system using Nero 6, I also noticed that Nero was skipping a lot files while backing up I’m not too sure if this has lead to the loss of rights content after restoring the system.
I’ve already contacted the Connect team and they don’t seem to have any idea what’s happening here, sonicstage 1.5 , 2.0 , 3.0 and 3.3 I no longer remember if it was 3.0 or 3.1 but the errors persist that all 12.3 GB of Omg & Oma have missing OpenMG content, this is all because I didn’t bother to uncheck the copyright box while converting from CD & mp3, music purchased from Connect is still on my computer wasting space as well, I especially don’t want to delete the 12.3 gigs because most of those tracks cant be brought back ever, the CD ones can.
While communicating with the team at connect I was even trying to tell them if I could re authorise my computer so I could get all that music working again, all they could do is get me to re install the software over and over, after two weeks I began to experiment (after backing up again) with the OpenMG and the directory for C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony Corporation\SonicStage, I replaced some key files from my old sonic stage 3.0 (not the dLL’s) into 3.3 and fond that the contents of the tracks had returned such as track title’s, it was so frustrating to find out after all that had work that my tracks still wouldn’t play not even in SonicStage 4.
I really hope there’s a solution to all this.
