Codec Woes

Hi
When converting wav to mp3 have following difficulty.

As soon as I set a higher quality for the conversion eg) studio quality or even CD quality I get this message

The CODEC required to compress 'C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\car1\asongnamehere.mp3' could not be opened.
Error creating mp3 compressor, try different encoding frequency and bitrates.

I have installed musepack without any effect on my problem.

Help required and appreciated.

What is the type, bitrate, frequency, and channels of your source file? This can be found by hovering over the file if you have PopUpInfo turned on.

Do you have either an unexpired trial or a registered version?
